Now it's time to move beyond these clichés and prove you mettle as a fin-wiz.

In Greed We Trust, the Finance event of Transcend 2012, welcomes all plutocrats across the B-Schools. The event is designed to test your knowledge of Corporate Finance, International Finance, Economics, Derivatives, Banking among others. So unleash the deadly sin of rapacious desire in you.

ROUND 1: ONLINE QUIZ
• The zipped folder containing the 1st round questions will be sent to you via email at 21:30 hrs on 14th January 2012. There will be 1 pdf for every question.
• The password to unlock the first pdf will be mailed and announced on the Facebook page of Transcend at 22:00 hrs sharp on 14th January 2012.
• The answer to the first question will serve as the password for the next pdf which has the 2nd question and so on.
• All passwords are in lowercase, and do not contain spaces
• Duration of the quiz will be 30 minutes.
• There should be only one submission per team.
• Top 20 teams will be short listed and will be given a case study to be solved and presented in front of the panel of judges on campus.
• In case of tie, the quiz submission time of the respective teams will be the deciding factor.
Guidelines:
• The quiz starts at 22:00 hours on 14th January 2012. Enter your answers in the Google form before 22:30 hours on 14th January 2012. Entries post that will be DISQUALIFIED. There will be no extension beyond the time limit specified.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Students pursuing full time MBA or equivalent courses are eligible to participate in this competition. Competition is open to both first and second year MBA students.
2. Each team will comprise of only 2 members from the same institute.
3. It is mandatory for all the teams to register on for the event.
4. There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute. An applicant cannot be a part of more than one team.
5. Terms and Conditions of participation are subject to change at any time without specific notice. The amended Terms and Conditions of entry will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website. It is the sole responsibility of the teams to regularly visit the website to read any changes.
6. Teams who do not adhere to any of the rules and guidelines will be disqualified at any phase of the event.
7. The decision of the organizers of the contest and the panel of judges will be final and binding on all contestants. The decision with respect to any conflicts will rest with the organisers.
